Basic Instructions for Installing Player’s Outfits


Note:  EACH player’s original outfit is included in the selection of outfits here at the GBD site.
So there is therefore no need to backup their original files.
 

Here are a few installation options…

Note: (Where you see Player use the Player Name you are working with)
ie - for player Jack, where it say Player below use the Jack Folder.

Option 1 - Basic One-at-a-Time Installation:

Simply extract a downloaded outfit’s zipped file into JN6-GBC’s  …\Data\Models\Player directory.
When you want a new outfit visit the GBD site again, download a new one and repeat the process.

Another method:
Extract the zipfile to a temporary directory and then copy the files into the …\Data\Models\Player directory. 

Better yet… Download all the outfits and install them from a menu you create either on the Desktop or in the Start Menu bar.  (See Options 2 and 3 below.)


Option 2 - Installing Outfits from a Pre-setup Menu on the DESKTOP:
  
1.Create a new folder on the Desktop.  Name it GBC Outfits.  
2.Open the GBC Outfits folder.  It is presently blank.
3.Next, create a new folder within the GBC Outfits folder.  Name it Jack.
4.Download all Jack's outfits (zipped files) to this folder.
The menu is now set up.
You can close this window.
We’re ready to install a new outfit! 
5.Double-click on the GBC Outfits folder you just created on the desktop.
6.Next, double-click on the Jack folder.  You should see all the zipfiles you previously downloaded. 
7.Double-click on the outfit you want to install.  The WinZip window opens…
8.Extract the zipped file to JN6-GBC’s  …\Data\Models\Jack directory.
Jack’s new threads are now installed!


Option 3 - Installing Outfits from a Pre-setup Menu in the START MENU Bar:

1.Right-click on the Start button.  Click on Open.  The Start Menu window is displayed.
2.Create a new folder.  Name it GBC Outfits. 
3.Open the GBC Outfits folder.  It is presently blank.
4.Next, create a new folder within the GBC Outfits folder.  Name it Jack.
5.Download all Jack’s outfits (zipped files) to this folder.
The menu is now set up.
You can close this window.
We’re ready to install a new outfit!
6.Click on Start to open the Start Menu.
7.Click on GBC Outfits, then on Jack.  All zipped files you downloaded should be listed.
8.Click on the outfit you want to install.  The WinZip window opens…
9.Extract the zipped file to JN6-GBC’s  …\Data\Models\Jack directory.
Jack’s new threads are now installed!
